This is what keeps me excited—variety and the ability to learn
Rida, Software Engineer
After completing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Rida wanted an environment where she could continue growing and challenging herself professionally. Nuvalence offered this, along with the work culture and opportunities she was searching for to help her achieve her career goals.
“From the start, leadership has fully supported my career goal to specialize in DevOps. I’ve been part of three separate engagements and have had the opportunity to take on a DevOps role each time. This is what keeps me excited—variety and the ability to learn. And at Nuvalence, there are so many opportunities for both.”
Rida believes exploring a diverse range of tools and technologies has been instrumental to her growth as a Software Engineer. “Between building projects from scratch to clients asking us what the best tool is for their use-case, I’m constantly working with new and different tools, technologies, and platforms. As a result, I learn more and level up on my skills every day.”
For Rida, continuous learning will always drive her journey as a Software Engineer. Equally important to her growth and development, she believes, is the work culture and environment she is surrounded by.
“A part of Nuvalence culture is to not only help clients but also each other. I can always expect Nuvaliens to share new tricks, solutions, and technologies. Similarly, my experiences with senior leadership have been incredible—I’m never afraid to ask questions. I, unfortunately, know what it feels like to be unheard. And as a woman in engineering, I especially understand the importance of having an environment where your opinions and questions are not overlooked but respected and valued. At Nuvalence, I have always been heard.”

We’re not only part of something transformative. We’re an active agent of it.
Erik, Principal Product Manager
Erik’s career at Nuvalence started when our Co-Founders decided to put their mission into motion. Brought on as the first team member and Product Manager in 2018, Erik has accumulated a unique perspective on Nuvalence’s journey over the years.
“We as a company have been able to work on engagements that are highly impactful for our clients. We’ve helped build brand new revenue streams and fundamentally changed how entire organizations operate. Having these strategic partnerships with our clients is exactly what makes it so impactful. We’re not just part of something transformative. We’re an active agent of it.”
Erik joined Nuvalence with a strong product background and go-to-market experience. Though uncommon in traditional consulting, bringing commercial products to market is not only a shared experience amongst Nuvaliens but a distinct asset.
“We build highly technical products and help roll them out, so having a product mindset and the technical understanding to do so is important. It’s how we ensure that what we deliver to our clients is valuable. As a Product Manager at Nuvalence, you’re not just responsible for hitting deadlines or managing a team; you’re responsible for delivering real value to our clients. It’s this level of responsibility that makes it so rewarding.”
Erik attributes Nuvalence to his own journey as a Product Manager. “It’s safe to say I’ve significantly improved from the Product Manager I started as. A big part of my progression is how we operate at Nuvalence—you learn by doing. No matter what stage you’re at or how much or little experience you have, there’s so much access to opportunity. It can be challenging at times and put you out of your comfort zone, but that feeling usually indicates you’re growing and doing something important.”

You have the opportunity to make an impact and scale it too.
Dan, Data Science Lead
Dan joined the team as an integral part of a vision. Nuvalence’s existing capabilities and proven customer success, coupled with Dan’s experienced background in digital delivery and advanced analytic methods created the opportunity both Nuvalence and Dan had been searching for.
“When you have a digital platform, you also have a significant amount of data. And based on our experiences, data needs a platform to create successful, repeatable solutions. As a result, we created a Data Practice that enhances the solutions Nuvalence was already delivering and showcases how we can provide data-driven outcomes for any client in any environment.”
Today, Dan helps our clients discover and unlock more insights from their data. “Data is so valuable to every organization; it offers insight and understanding so we can make sense of whatever it may be at hand. When you unlock that value, you have the opportunity to make an impact and scale it too.”
What drives Dan is the endless opportunities that data has to offer. “The possibility of completely reinventing how a company approaches their customers or how people access services all because you discovered an insight from data—the impact is just insurmountable.” As Nuvalence’s Practice grows, Dan continues to apply his passion and learnings to build and enhance solutions through data.
“We have an ongoing opportunity to deliver significant value to our clients, and we also have that opportunity with Nuvalence. We’re consistently in unique and exciting positions by anticipating new trends, building new data-driven approaches, and engaging in strategic work. We get to be the tip of the spear for Nuvalence.”

It’s an incredible feeling to create a product or service that gets released into the world.
Czara, UX Designer
Czara joined the team as one of Nuvalence’s first UX Designers, bringing diverse experience across various fields and a passion for creating impactful user experiences. Drawing on her educational background and knowledge as a College Professor, Czara helps create human-centered products by applying psychology and ergonomic principles to design.
“Design and user experience can improve people’s lives regardless of age or background. Whether it’s a student or my 73-year-old father—it’s thinking about those aspects and how different people use and experience things all in different ways.”
As a UX Designer, part-time Professor, and full-time parent, Czara is no stranger to challenges, which is one of the reasons she joined the Nuvalence team. “I don’t like feeling stagnant, so working at places where I feel both excited and challenged is important. At Nuvalence, the standards set are just amazing. Everyone I’ve worked alongside is so intelligent and knowledgeable, and they continue to push the quality of work higher and higher.”
As Czara has progressed in her career and life, workplace culture has become increasingly important. “I have a lot of things on my plate, so flexibility and understanding are essential to me. You can find a job as a UX Designer, and you can find challenging projects to work on, but finding a place with a truly supportive and positive culture is rare. Nuvalence is the first place I’ve found all three.”
While at Nuvalence, Czara has helped create and launch various digital solutions across the public sector. What fuels her passion is seeing those creations come to life.
“It’s an incredible feeling to create a product or service that gets released into the world. Witnessing people use what we design, seeing their improved experiences and the real impact it brings to their lives is invaluable.”
